Urgent Care Direct are a nationwide organisation reaching all corners of the United Kingdom working with GP Surgery’s, Out of Hours providers, MOD and the HMP service. We supply and recruit GP’s on a temporary or permanent basis, so whether it is study leave, maternity, sickness, holiday cover or even full time replacement, we can offer you the labour solution.

What can you expect from us?

Our vetting process is exhaustive. We expect the highest standards from all our doctors to give are clients the peace of mind they deserve. Our compliance team are committed to keeping all doctors documents, insurance and references are all up to date. Please find below the details we will hold on file for all of our Doctor’s:

• Valid General Medical Council membership certificate
• Valid JCPTGP/ PMETB membership certificate
• Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau
• A minimum of two professional references
• Confirmation of inclusion on a Medical Performers List
• Valid Professional Indemnity Certificate
• Current Curriculum Vitae
• Confirmation of the Doctor’s eligibility to work in England
• Copy of Passport
• A completed application and occupational form, including Hepatitis B status
• Signed terms and conditions detailing appropriate behaviour when completing an assignment
